Description
Beach. Here we have one of the last few stretches of sheltered white sand beach that is undeveloped. It is situated on the Island of Bastimentos close to Old Point looking out across the bay to the Zapatillas Islands about 20 minuets from Bocas Del Toro town. Within a 5-10 minuet boat ride there are over 4 restaurants on the water...... not that you need them with fresh fish and lobster on your own beach front! and to go with these you have numerous fruit trees, Coconut / Mango / Lime / Pineapple and even Lemon grass........ The beach area is approximately 150 meters long and is divided evenly between the three lots for sale. Each lot has its own private dock (approx 35') and private beach, giving that tranquil feeling of your own desert island, be it for a home or just a vacation spot. The property also has the added bonus of a calm and sheltered bay, unlike many other beaches that are facing the Caribbean sea that quite often suffer from big surf making it difficult to access in rough seas. This is truly one of the most beautiful tranquil and stunning property's that we have had and will have for a long time, I am lost for words to describe its beauty and that doesn't happen very often.............. Each lot has been surveyed and registered in its own company name ready to transfer to you. In 1- 2 years time you will think back and talk about the opportunity you once had of buying that Caribbean white sand beach for $175,000 and are now selling for over $500,000.........

You can build on the property immediately but it has no utilities. There are no buildings on any of these lots. Hope this helps,

Are these lots still available? How many feet of beachfront does each lot have? What are the dimensions of each lot? Is each lot 1.7 acres or is this 1.7 acres for all three lots combined? Are there any trails for exploring the Island from these lots? I guess what I'm trying to find out is: Can you explore the rest of the Island from these lots or is the Jungle to dense with alot of wetland/mangroves to do that? Is there any elevation for building sites? Do you need special permitting to build? Can we get the permits needed to build or are there restrictions?

Hi, Yes these lots are still available. We have interest in one but not yet contracted. Only the large Lot is 1.7 acres and the beachfront for each one is on the survey map on the site. The smaller lots are about half an acre. There is no special permits neede for building and the land is flat without elevation. To explore the rest of the island by foot from the site is difficult because there are no defined pathways. You would take a boat a few hundred metres away to existing trails. Each of the smaller lots has about 120 ft of beachfront an the larger longer one has about 200 ft waterfront. These lots are very shallow in depth with longish waterfrontages. Quite the opposite of most lots that have tiny waterfrontages with deep land mass behind them. The area is beautiful and the beaches are very pleasant because they are not subject to the huge swells outside. Its one of the most desireable locations to build a super home. It may also be possible to buy the whole pice at a discount. Hope this helps.
